The Family Forum

Family Forum

We are committed to working in partnership with families to provide the very best learning opportunities for our children.

We appreciate that not everybody that would have liked to have been involved within the forums in the past, were able to attend. Therefore we have changed the way we will conduct the forum this year.

Each term the school will post an agenda on issues/ information/ projects which are taking place within the school. We would then ask parents to email in any comments or questions, as well as any general issues or questions that they may have. There will be a set date for submission from parents and responses. All agendas and responses will be posted on the tab at the side of this page.

The key purpose of the Forum will be as follows:

  • To develop a successful partnership between Tangmere Primary Academy and parents/carers in order to support and promote teaching and learning
  • To give our parents/carers a voice, in an informal setting, that will enable them to raise any general issues or concerns they may have
  • To provide a mechanism whereby the Headteacher and Governors may consult and inform parents/carers of new policies and procedures
  • The Forum will act as an advisory and consultative body within our school
  • The Forum will not be used for individual complaints or issues. These should always be addressed by contacting the school office and arranging a meeting with the relevant member of staff. The Forums will not involve discussions about individual children, families or teachers.

An agenda will be posted during the term with a date for the submission of responses.

Please contact us on the following email address if you wish to raise any general issues.

We look forward to hearing from as many of you as possible. Your views are important in helping us to move the school forward in providing the best primary education for your children.
