Key Stage 1 Results

Children in year 1 undertake a phonics test at the end of the end of the year.

67% of the children in year 1 passed the phonics test in Summer term 2015

Children in year 2 undertake tests for reading and maths that are used with teacher assessment to give the children an end of Key Stage 1 level. Writing is based solely upon teacher assessment, using different pieces of the children's work to evidence the level.

Last year there were a number of changes to the assessment of children at the end of key stage 1, with new raised curriculum expectations meaning that any comparison with previous year's results is not possible.

Please see below for our end of KS1 results from Summer term 2016; ARE(Age Related Expectations) is the expected standard for the children to achieve by the end of KS1
